Private sector housing approvals inched up 0.9% to 10,194 in March, while approvals for private sector dwellings excluding houses fell 26% to 6,632, according to the ABS data.
Meanwhile, the value of total non-residential building approvals fell around 25% to AU$5.97 billion, and the value of total residential building approvals fell nearly 16% to AU$10.77 billion.
