Shares of the company jumped nearly 5% in Thursday's trade.
Earnings per share during the quarter ended March 31 stood at 2.83 rupees, compared with a loss per share of 8.47 rupees a year earlier. Analysts polled by Visible Alpha estimated EPS of 2.23 rupees.
Revenue from operations of the digital payments platform owner rose year on year to 22.6 billion rupees from 19.1 billion rupees, the filing said. Analysts polled by Visible Alpha also estimated a revenue of 22.6 billion rupees.
