-- Lindian Resources' (ASX:LIN) Kangankunde rare earths project in Malawi remains on schedule, with front-end commissioning targeted for October and first production targeted for the December quarter, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
Its stage one process plant is designed for 20,000 tonnes per annum nameplate concentrate capacity. First ore to run-of-mine pad is scheduled for June, with mining beginning around six months before practical completion in November to establish stockpiles.
Water and borehole approval was received from the National Water Resources Authority, and approvals for both general and hazardous waste management were also secured.
