-- Hope Life International (HKG:1683) refuted claims in a WeChat post by Zhongchuang Wangyan (Shenzhen) Technology that the latter is pursuing a listing under the former's stock code, according to a Monday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
The post alleged that Zhongchuang Wangyan plans to list under stock code 01683 and that, upon completion of certain procedures, Hope Life would be renamed "Zhongchuang Wangyan" and undergo changes to its board composition.
The construction services provider said it has not entered into any agreement, arrangement or understanding with Zhongchuang Wangyan or its affiliates in relation to the alleged listing, proposed name change, or board revamp, and has no plans to do so.
Hope Life added that its only relationship with Zhongchuang Wangyan is a cooperation framework agreement signed in September 2025 through a subsidiary for the joint development of an online banquet-related business, with no other contractual, equity, or other ties between the parties.
