-- China New Higher Education Group (HKG:2001) recorded a 0.6% rise in attributable profit to 472.3 million yuan in the six months ended Feb. 28 from 469.3 million yuan a year prior, according to a Tuesday Hong Kong bourse filing.
Shares of the school operator were up 1% in Wednesday afternoon trading.
Earnings per share slipped to 0.24 yuan from 0.30 yuan in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
Total revenue jumped 2.6% to 1.45 billion yuan from 1.41 billion yuan in the year-ago period, mainly due to higher revenue from tuition fees and boarding fees.
