The coal producer's operational revenue slid 11% to 34.2 billion yuan from 38.4 billion yuan in the year-ago period.
Commercial coal output and sales slipped 9.5% and 13% year over year to 30.2 million tons and 56 million tons, respectively, in the first quarter.
