BMC Minerals Says Drilling at Canada Project Returns Thick, Massive Sulfide Intersection

-- BMC Minerals (ASX:BMC) said assays from diamond drilling program at its Kudz Ze Kayah project in Yukon, Canada, returned a thick, high-grade massive sulfide intersection at the Krakatoa zone, outside of the current ore reserve, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

It encountered an intersection of 25.1 meters at 180 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of silver, 9.7% grade of zinc, 1 g/t grade of gold, 0.3% grade of copper, and 3.4% grade of lead from 327.5 meters.

The result confirms the continuity of high-grade mineralization between historic holes, with the Krakatoa lens remaining open down plunge to the north, the company said.

BMC Minerals' shares fell nearly 1% in recent trading on Monday.
