-- Bharat Electronics (NSE:BEL, BOM:500049) secured an order worth 12.5 billion Indian rupees from India's Ministry of Defense for the supply of a ground-based electronic warfare system to the Indian Army, according to a Tuesday filing.
The system has been designed and developed by Defence Electronics Research Laboratory, Hyderabad, and will be manufactured by the company, the filing said.
The warfare system is intended for the detection, classification and analysis of radar and communication signals, the company said.
