-- Hong Kong's airline capacity is expected to expand by about 10% in the second quarter, Bloomberg News reported Tuesday.
Seat capacity to mainland China and South Korea is forecast to jump between 17% and 30% from a year earlier, the report said, citing a Bloomberg Intelligence note.
Short-haul demand is also reportedly lifting traffic to Southeast Asia, particularly Vietnam and Malaysia.
Meanwhile, long-haul services to markets such as the U.S. and Australia are seen rising by around 15% to 16%, the report said.
