-- Yamaichi Electronics (TYO:6941) said systems at its Philippines subsidiary have resumed normal operations following a ransomware attack, according to a Thursday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The company said the affected servers at Pricon Microelectronics were restored on April 29 with support from external cybersecurity experts. Production or sales were not affected.
A third-party forensic review found no evidence of data leaks or unauthorized transfers, the company said.
