Viscount Mining Upgrade to OTCQX Best Market; Shares up 4.7%

-- Viscount Mining's (VML.V) on Tuesday said its shares have been upgraded to the OTCQX Best Market and are trading under the symbol "VLMGF.

The company had previously been trading on the OTCQB Venture Market.

"The upgrade to the OTCQX Best Market reflects the company's continued focus on strengthening its capital markets presence and improving accessibility for U.S. investors," said chief executive Jim MacKenzie. "We believe this transition supports broader investor awareness and aligns with our objective of advancing our asset portfolio in a disciplined and transparent manner."

The company's shares were last seen up $0.02 to $0.45 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
