-- Samsung Electronics (KRX:005930) introduced a new service called Samsung Wallet Trips, which is designed to improve the travel experience for Galaxy users, the electronics products maker said in a Monday release.
The service allows users to manage boarding passes, hotel bookings, and event tickets in one place through the Samsung Wallet app. The service combines information spread across multiple platforms, the release said.
The service allows direct registration of reservations and tickets, while Samsung Knox ensures data protection via encryption and biometric authentication, it said.
Shares of Samsung Electronics rose nearly 1% in recent trade.
