-- Punjab & Sind Bank's (NSE:PSB, BOM:533295) net profit increased to 4.22 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal fourth quarter from 3.12 billion rupees a year earlier, according to a Monday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.
Shares of the bank fell nearly 2% in Tuesday's trade.
Earnings per share in the quarter ended March 31 climbed to 0.59 rupees from 0.46 rupees a year ago.
Interest earned by the lender in fiscal Q4, however, slipped year on year to 30.3 billion rupees from 31.6 billion rupees a year earlier, the filing said.
The company's board declared a dividend of 0.39 rupees per share for the fiscal year ended March 31.
