-- Ore Resources (ASX:OR3) started a 15,000-meter regional air core drilling program at its Coolgardie gold project in Western Australia, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The drilling will initially focus on the Burbanks East exploration area, targeting a 2.7-kilometer anomalous gold trend and other intrusion-related targets, per the filing.
The program will later shift to drill testing high-priority regional prospects at the Miriam gold project, including systematic follow-up drill testing along a broader anomaly defining the Canyon prospect, where previous reverse circulation drilling confirmed a fertile gold system, the company said.
Ore Resources expects assay results from the new air core drilling program starting from late May.
