-- NLIGHT (LASR) said Thursday it plans to expand its existing facility in Torino, Italy, to meet growing demand for locally assembled directed energy systems.
The company said the expansion will enhance its capability to supply high-power laser subsystems and integrated components tailored to regional requirements.
The upgraded site will focus on local assembly, testing, and lifecycle support for defense applications in European and Middle Eastern markets, nLIGHT said.
Shares of the company were up 3.4% in Thursday trading.
