-- Freee K.K (TYO:4478) said it set May 8 as the record date for an extraordinary shareholder meeting to vote on a planned capital reduction, according to a Thursday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The software company plans to cut share capital by 15 billion yen to about 12.9 billion yen and transfer the amount to capital surplus, with no change to the number of shares or net assets.
The proposal will be submitted at a meeting scheduled for June 23, when the reduction is also expected to take effect if approved.
