-- Flex (FLEX) and Teradyne's (TER) robotics division are expanding their collaboration to accelerate intelligent automation across global manufacturing, Flex said Wednesday.
Flex will continue manufacturing key components for Teradyne's Universal Robots and Mobile Industrial Robots brands while also deploying these collaborative robots and autonomous mobile robots within its own production sites, Flex said.
This integration is intended to validate robotics performance at scale and enable faster replication of successful automation workflows across diverse industries.
Flex shares fell 1.2% in Wednesday trading, and Teradyne declined 0.4%.
