Zhejiang Orient Gene Biotech Gets International, Domestic Medical Device Certificates

Zhejiang Orient Gene Biotech (SHA:688298), along with two of its subsidiaries, obtained a number of international and domestic medical device registration certificates for their devices, according to a Friday disclosure on the Shanghai bourse.

The domestic certificates were handed to three devices, which are test kits for hepatitis C virus, helicobacter pylori and bordetella pertussis nucleic acid.

The international certificates were handed down to six devices, while U.S. Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments certificates were handed down to two test kits under the Healgen brand.

The bonus program will run annually for 10 years, given that profit targets are achieved. Analysts estimate Samsung's operating profit could surge sevenfold to around 333 trillion won in 2026.Shares of Samsung Electronics fell more than 2% at market close.

Bikaji Foods International's Fiscal Q4 Consolidated Profit Rises

Bikaji Foods International (NSE:BIKAJI, BOM:543653) reported an increase in attributable consolidated profit to 564.1 million Indian rupees in the fiscal fourth quarter, from 447.2 million rupees a year ago, according to a Thursday filing on Indian bourses.Shares of the company fell over 1% in Friday's trade.Earnings per share in the quarter ended March 31 climbed to 2.24 rupees from 1.79 rupees a year earlier.Revenue from operations in fiscal Q4 increased year on year to 7.07 billion rupees from 5.94 billion rupees a year ago.The company's board of directors recommended a final dividend of 1.25 rupees per share for the financial year ended March 31.
