Venus Pipes & Tubes' Fiscal Q4 Profit Rises

Venus Pipes & Tubes Ltd (BOM:543528, NSE:VENUSPIPES) reported an increase in net profit to 255 million Indian rupees in the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31 from 237.1 million rupees a year earlier, according to a Tuesday filing on the Indian bourses.

Earnings per share climbed to 12.36 rupees from 11.60 rupees in the same quarter last year.

Revenue from operations rose to 3.02 billion rupees from 2.58 billion rupees a year ago.

The company recommended a final dividend of 0.50 rupees per share for the fiscal year ended March 31.
