Shoucheng Posts Sharp Profit Decline in Q1

Shoucheng (HKG:0697) posted a profit attributable to owners of HK$79 million for the first quarter, down from HK$213 million a year earlier, according to a Friday Hong Kong bourse filing.

Earnings per share at the investment company came in at HK$0.0095, compared with HK$0.0299 a year earlier.

Revenue fell to HK$327.1 million from HK$352.2 million in the prior-year period.
