Micro-Star International's (TPE:2377) global consumer PC demand has dropped 10% to 20% annually in 2026, with rising component costs hitting especially its DIY motherboard segment, Taipei Times reported Friday, citing Chairman Hsu Hsiang.
The company began increasing prices across its product range this quarter and intends to fully transfer higher component costs to customers in the next quarter, he said.
He added that acceptance of higher prices remains uncertain, while enterprise PC demand has stayed relatively stable, the news outlet said.
