Jindal Stainless's Consolidated Profit Rises in Fiscal Q4

-- Jindal Stainless's (NSE:JSL, BOM:532508) consolidated attributable profit rose to 8.44 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31, from 5.91 billion rupees a year ago.

Earnings per share rose to 10.22 rupees from 7.17 rupees a year earlier, the stainless manufacturer said in a filing to the Indian stock exchanges on Monday. The figure exceeded analysts' 9.69 rupees estimate in a Visible Alpha survey.

Revenue from operations in fiscal Q4 also increased to 113.4 billion rupees from 102.0 billion rupees a year ago.

The company's board recommended a final dividend of 3 rupees per equity share of the face value of 2 rupees each for the financial year ended March 31.

Public transport spending fell 7% after a sharp jump in March, but was up 5.7% year over year.

Frasers Logistics & Commercial Trust's (SGX:BUOU) distribution per unit or DPU fell 1.7% during the fiscal first half ended March 31 to SG$0.0295 from SG$0.03 a year earlier, according to a Tuesday filing with the Singapore Exchange.Distributable income fell by 1% to SG$111.9 million from SG$113.0 million.Adjusted net property income rose 3.6% to SG$167 million from SG$161.3 million in the year-ago period.Revenue was up 2.8% year over year to SG$238.9 million from SG$232.3 million.Overall portfolio occupancy stood at 96.1%, backed a weighted average lease expiry of 4.9 years.
