IPS Confirms No Employee Injured Following Mindanao Earthquake

By

IPS (TYO:4390) confirmed that none of its employees were injured after the Monday earthquake off the coast of Mindanao Island in the Philippines, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Monday.

Although commercial power was lost at one communications network site, causing a temporary service interruption, service has since been restored with no substantial damage.

The tsunami had no impact on the Baler landing station, currently under construction.

The company believes the impact on its business performance will be minimal, but said it will promptly notify of any significant future developments.

IPS's shares were down 2% in recent trade.
