A.I.S. Resources (AIS.V) has expanded its land package in southwestern New Brunswick to 25,683 hectares after acquiring an additional 16,128 hectares in the area, the company said Tuesday.
The company's portfolio now comprises the early-stage Saint John, Pocologan and Frenchmans Creek projects.
A.I.S. made the acquisition after its evaluation confirmed that prospective mineralized trends extend beyond the boundaries of its original claim holdings.
"This led us to significantly expand our land position to secure additional prospective ground and strengthen our exposure to what we believe is an emerging district-scale exploration opportunity in southwestern New Brunswick," Chief Executive Officer Marc Enright-Morin said.
