Hengsheng Energy Completes Carry Forward of Unsold Carbon Emission Allowances

Hengsheng Energy (SHA:605580) completed carrying forward unsold 2023 carbon emission allowances to its 2025 account, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Monday.

About 75,400 tons of carbon emission allowances were unsold because market prices remained below its target selling price.

The unsold tons were from 217,500 tons of carbon emission allowances that were marketed through China's National Carbon Emissions Trading System for 19.9 million yuan.

The Chinese power company's shares slipped 1% during the morning trade.
