HeidelbergCement India's (NSE:HEIDELBERG, BOM:500292) net profit declined to 452.1 million Indian rupees in the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31 from 504.5 million rupees a year ago.
Earnings per share fell to 2.00 rupees from 2.23 rupees a year earlier, the cement manufacturer said in a filing to the Indian stock exchanges on Monday.
Revenue from operations in fiscal Q4 increased to 6.46 billion rupees from 6.12 billion rupees a year ago.
The company's board recommended a dividend of 7 rupees per equity share of 10 rupees for the fiscal year ended March 31.
The company's shares were up over 2% in recent trade.
