GP Industries Reports 17% Rise in Fiscal Profit

Gold Peak Technology Group's (HKG:0040) 86.18%-owned subsidiary, GP Industries, recorded SG$28.4 million in attributable profit for the fiscal year ended March 31, rising 17% from SG$24.3 million a year earlier, according to a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.

The battery manufacturer's shares gained over 4% in recent trade.

Earnings per share were SG$0.0565, compared with SG$0.049 in the prior fiscal year.

Revenue remained largely flat year over year at SG$1.09 billion, figures showed.

The Gold Peak unit also declared a full-year dividend of SG$0.035 per share.

GP Industries Attributable Profit Jumps 23% in Fiscal H2

GP Industries (SGX:G20) attributable profit to equity holders jumped 23% during fiscal second half ended March 31 to SG$12.1 million from SG$9.8 million a year earlier, according to a Thursday filing with the Singapore Exchange.Shares of the industrial and consumer products company were up nearly 1% in Friday trading.Earnings per share rose to SG$0.0239 compared with SG$0.0191 in the year-ago period.Revenue inched up 0.8% year over year to SG$538.5 million from SG$534.2 million.The directors proposed a final dividend of SG$0.0175 per share, taking the total dividend for fiscal 2026 to SG$0.035 per share.

Elanor Investors, Rockworth Capital Partners Agree to Not Extend Sunset Date for Firmus Capital Acquisition

Elanor Investors Group (ASX:ENN) will not be issuing the proposed 141.3 million consideration securities in Elanor Investors to Rockworth Capital Partners and Su Kiat Lim in relation to the proposed Firmus Capital acquisition after Rockworth and Elanor mutually agreed not to extend the May 31 sunset date for the transaction, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.The decision came as a result of delays and uncertainty in relation to the timing of obtaining regulatory approvals for the Firmus acquisition and given the significant time lapse since the terms of the proposed transaction were negotiated in July 2025.Rockworth, Su Kiat Lim, and Elanor will continue to work collaboratively in relation to the opportunity to acquire Firmus Capital in the future, per the filing.
