Goldiam International's Consolidated Profit Rises in Fiscal Q3; Shares Up 3%

Goldiam International's (NSE:GOLDIAM, BOM:526729) consolidated profit after tax rose to 393.9 million Indian rupees in the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31, from 270.2 million rupees a year ago.

Earnings per share came in at 3.30 rupees from 2.17 rupees a year earlier, the jewelry company said in a filing to the Indian bourses on Wednesday.

Revenue from operations in fiscal Q4 also increased to 2.35 billion rupees from 1.99 billion rupees a year ago.

The company's shares were up nearly 3% in recent trade.
