Emrock Acquires Majority Stake in Emrock Energy

Emrock Corp. (BOM:531676) acquired a 50.49% stake in Emrock Energy Pvt. Ltd. through subscription to equity shares under a preferential allotment/private placement, according to a Friday filing on BSE.

Following the transaction, Emrock Energy has become a subsidiary of the company, the filing said.

Emrock Energy operates in the renewable energy and waste-to-energy segment, including solar power and biomass-based energy projects, it added.

Bank of China Sells 30 Billion Yuan Bonds

Bank of China (SHA:601988, HKG:3988) completed Friday the issue of 30 billion yuan undated capital bonds to replenish its additional tier 1 capital.The bonds carry a coupon rate of 1.95% during the first five years, following which they will be reset every five years and can be redeemed on every distribution payment date, according to a filing with the Hong Kong bourse.

Gland Pharma's Consolidated Attributable Profit Almost Doubles in Fiscal Q4

Gland Pharma's (NSE:GLAND, BOM:543245) attributable consolidated profit almost doubled to 3.67 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal fourth quarter from 1.87 billion rupees a year ago.Earnings per share jumped to 22.23 rupees from 11.32 rupees over the period, according to a Friday filing to the Indian stock exchanges by the pharmaceutical company.Revenue from operations during the quarter also increased to 17.43 billion rupees from 14.25 billion rupees a year earlier.The company's board recommended a final dividend of 20 rupees per share for the financial year ended March 31.
