Dongwu Cement Says Share Disposal by Controlling Shareholder Lapses; Shares Rise 7%

-- Dongwu Cement International (HKG:0695) said proposed share disposals by controlling shareholder Goldview Development have lapsed and will not proceed, according to an April 30 Hong Kong bourse filing.

Shares of the cement manufacturer were up nearly 7% in Monday's mid-day trade.

The deals, announced in September 2025, involved the sale of 154.6 million shares to Port & Shipping HK for 285.6 million yuan and 49.7 million shares to Fenyuan Capital for 91.8 million yuan.

Following negotiations, the agreements have lapsed and all obligations terminated, the company said

Indonesia's Exports, Imports Rise in Q1

Indonesia booked a trade surplus of $5.55 billion in the first quarter, supported by a strong non-oil and gas balance despite higher import growth, according to official data released by Statistics Indonesia on Monday.Exports in the first quarter rose 0.34% annually to $66.9 billion, while imports climbed 10.05% to $61.30 billion.In March alone, exports fell 3.1% from a year earlier to $22.53 billion, while imports edged up 1.5% to $19.21 billion, the data showed.
