Brightcom Group's Consolidated Net Profit Rises in Fiscal Q4; Shares Plummet 8%

Brightcom Group (NSE:BCG, BOM:532368) said its consolidated net profit climbed to 2.08 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal fourth quarter from 1.21 billion rupees a year ago, according to a Sunday filing on Indian bourses.

Shares of the company plunged nearly 8% in Monday's trade.

Earnings per share for the quarter ended March 31 rose to 1.0296 rupees from 0.5978 rupees a year earlier.

Income from operations of the digital marketing company rose year on year to around 16 billion rupees from 9.87 billion rupees, the filing said.
