-- Ballard Mining (ASX:BM1) said it intersected gold mineralization during a recent drilling at the Ayla and Golden Vale prospects of its Mt Ida Gold Project in Western Australia, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The results were up to 3 meters at 5.2 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 17 meters and 3 meters at 8.5 g/t gold from 35 meters at Ayla, while Golden Vale returned 7 meters at 1 g/t gold from 13 meters, the filing added.
The company said the results suggest that the entire 13 kilometers of the Ballard Fault zone may be mineralized, with the identification of new shallow mineralized zones showing potential to add significant scale.
The company's shares fell past 1% in recent Tuesday trade.
