Advanced Lithium Electrochemistry (Cayman) (TWO:5227) denied media reports saying it secured a major long-term contract with Tesla, calling it speculation, according to a Thursday Taiwan Exchange filing.
The company responded after reports suggested a potential large order, new plant investment plans, and multi-year shipment volumes tied to a "North American customer".
The company clarified it has only entered into a production pricing agreement, not a confirmed purchase order, and stressed that projected revenue and shipment figures cited in reports are uncertain and not guidance.
