Cooks Coffee Fiscal Q4 Sales Rise Nearly 18% on Continued Expansion

-- Cooks Coffee (NZE:CCC) reported strong sales for the three months to March 31, with group store sales rising nearly 18% year on year to NZ$24.9 million from NZ$21.2 million a year earlier, driven by expansion and steady demand, according to a Monday New Zealand bourse filing.

UK and Ireland store sales each increased by about 18%, reaching NZ$17.3 million and NZ$7.6 million, respectively, compared with NZ$14.8 million and NZ$6.4 million, supported by new store openings and resilient like-for-like performance, per the filing.

The Esquires franchise network grew to 118 stores, an 18% increase from the previous year, comprising 82 locations in the UK, 23 in Ireland, and 13 overseas, the filing added.
