Lockheed Martin Wins Up to $105 Million US Space Force GPS Contract

-- Lockheed Martin (LMT) said Thursday it secured a contract worth up to $105 million from the US Space Force to modernize and sustain the GPS ground control network, supporting resilient positioning, navigation, and timing services for military and civilian users.

The work supports the Space Force's Architecture Evolution Plan and will cover launch, early orbit and disposal operations for GPS IIIF satellites.

The upgrades aim to strengthen the end-to-end GPS system, enhancing signal resiliency and ensuring continuous service for both defense and commercial users, according to the company.

Shares of Lockheed Martin were down 1.2% in Thursday trading.
