-- Country Garden (HKG:2007) completed the issuance of 219.4 million shares under a general mandate to settle outstanding loans and fees, according to a Tuesday Hong Kong bourse filing.
Shares of the property developer were up nearly 2% in Wednesday morning trade.
The shares were issued at HK$0.32 each to members of an ad hoc group of creditors under work fee arrangements.
The company said no cash proceeds were raised as the shares were issued to offset existing liabilities.
