Zeotech Receives Mine Access Road Approval for Queensland Kaolin Project

-- Zeotech (ASX:ZEO) said it has received approval for a mine access road variation from the Department of Natural Resources and Mines, Manufacturing and Regional and Rural Development for its Toondoon kaolin project in Australia, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

The company said flora permits and fauna management plans have been submitted to the Queensland Government Department of Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation.

The company has completed a detailed mine plan and production schedule to underpin direct shipping ore (DSO) operations, including an interim stage to fast-track an initial minimum 10,000-tonne trial shipment of kaolin DSO, the filing added.

About 120 tonnes of kaolin DSO and cosmetic kaolin DSO have been readied for shipment to offtake partner Jiangsu Mineral Sources International Trading to support product marketing and customer qualification, the filing added.

The company's shares rose 1% in recent Tuesday trade.
