Marico's Consolidated Net Profit in Fiscal Q4; Shares Up 3%
Marico's (NSE:MARICO, BOM:531642) consolidated net profit rose to 3.91 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31, from 3.43 billion rupees a year ago.Earnings per share came in at 3.03 rupees from 2.65 rupees a year earlier, the fast-moving consumer goods company said in a filing to the Indian stock exchanges on Tuesday.Revenue from operations in fiscal Q4 also increased to 33.3 billion rupees from 27.3 billion rupees a year ago.Marico's board recommended final equity dividend of 4 rupees per equity share of 1 rupee each, to be paid by Sept. 5.The company's shares were up nearly 3% in recent trade.
