米国天然ガス最新情報:生産量減少と強気な気象予報を受け、先物価格が上昇

-- 米国の天然ガス先物価格は月曜日、生産量の減少と短期的な好天候予報を背景に急騰した。 ヘンリーハブの期近限月契約と継続限月契約はともに2.97%上昇し、100万BTUあたり2.59ドルとなった。 TradingEconomicsによると、米国の国内天然ガス生産量は過去18日間で日量41億立方フィート減少し、11週間ぶりの低水準となる日量1081億立方フィートを記録した。同社はこの減少について、EQT Corp.(EQT)などの大手生産企業が価格下落に対応して生産量を削減したことが原因だと分析している。 同時に、NRG Energyによると、カナダからの輸入量は日量55億立方フィートから47億立方フィートに減少したが、需要は日量1020億立方フィートとほぼ横ばいだった。 一方、LNG供給ガス量は189億立方フィートと過去最高水準付近で推移しており、今後数ヶ月でさらに多くのLNG生産能力が稼働開始する予定です。 国立気象局によると、ここ数日の天気予報は強気な内容に転じており、5月4日から10日にかけて、国土の半分以上、特に中部および東部地域で平年を下回る気温が予想されています。
