米国の中古住宅販売ペースは3月に若干減速すると予想される

-- 全米不動産協会(NAR)が発表する米国の既存住宅販売件数は、ブルームバーグがまとめた調査によると、2月に前年同月比1.7%増の409万戸となった後、3月には年率換算で408万戸に減速すると予想されている。 2025年3月の既存住宅販売件数は年率換算で402万戸だったため、前年同月比ではプラスとなる見込みだ。 このデータは、月曜日の午前10時(米国東部時間)に発表される予定だ。 同じくNARが発表する住宅販売契約指数は、2月に前年同月比1.8%上昇したが、前年同月比では0.8%低かった。この指数は契約締結時に算出され、1~2か月後の既存住宅の売買契約締結件数の動向を予測する指標となる。 住宅ローン銀行協会(MBA)が発表した最新の住宅ローン申請データによると、住宅ローン金利は2月に低下した後、3月には回復した。

South Korean Shares Close at New High on Chip, Power Equipment Gains

South Korean shares closed at a new high on Monday, with the primary index crossing the 6,600 level amid a rally led by chip stocks and power equipment manufacturers.The Korea Composite Stock Price Index or Kospi rose 139.4 points, or 2.2%, to end at 6,615.03. UCO Bank's Fiscal Q4 Profit Rises

UCO Bank (NSE:UCOBANK, BOM:532505) net profit rose to 8.01 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal fourth quarter from 6.52 billion rupees a year ago, according to a Saturday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.Earnings per share during the quarter ended March 31 climbed to 0.64 rupees from 0.56 rupees last year.Interest earned by the lender in fiscal Q4, however, slipped to 66.6 billion rupees from 67.4 billion rupees a year earlier.The bank's board also recommended a dividend of 0.44 rupees per share for the financial year 2025-26.

Prudential Buys Back Shares

Prudential (SGX:K6S, HKG:2378) bought back 287,211 shares in London on April 24 at an average price of about 11.20 pounds sterling apiece, according to a Monday Hong Kong bourse filing.The insurer intends to cancel the repurchased shares.Following the transaction, the company will have about 2.52 billion shares in issue.
