火曜日の取引で米国預託証券(ADR)が急騰する中、アジア株は米国市場で取引された。

-- アジア株は、火曜午前の米国市場で取引され、米国預託証券(ADR)は急騰し、S&Pアジア50 ADR指数は0.94%高の2,795.46となった。 北アジアでは、コンピューターハードウェアメーカーのCanaan(CAN)とインターネット・データセンターサービスプロバイダーのVNETグループ(VNET)がそれぞれ9.6%高、5.3%高と上昇を牽引した。これに続き、電力会社の韓国電力(KEP)と動画配信サービスのiQIYI(IQ)がそれぞれ5.1%高、5%高となった。 一方、北アジアでは、ブランドプラットフォームの36Kr(KRKR)とヘルスケアプラットフォームの111(YI)がそれぞれ4.3%安、2.7%安と下落を牽引した。これに続き、モバイルアプリ開発会社のCheetah Mobile(CMCM)と三井住友フィナンシャルグループ(SMFG)がそれぞれ1.1%安、0.7%安となった。南アジアでは、テクノロジー複合企業のSea(SE)と通信事業者のPLDT(PHI)がそれぞれ3.7%と1%上昇し、上昇を牽引しました。続いて、ICICI銀行(IBN)とHDFC銀行(HDB)がそれぞれ0.7%と0.3%上昇しました。 一方、南アジアでは、通信事業者のTelekomunikasi Indonesia(TLK)が1.8%下落し、IT企業のWipro(WIT)とSify Technologies(SIFY)がそれぞれ1.3%と1%下落しました。

German exporters turned slightly optimistic in April, while the overall sector moved neither forward nor backward due to geopolitical uncertainty, the ifo Institute said Monday.The ifo export expectations indicator increased to 0.1 point in April, from -0.7 points in March, as positive expectations roughly offset negative ones.Across the board, the export outlook for the automotive industry, electronics sector, and furniture manufacturers declined but remained generally positive. Big Banc Split to Complete Class A Share Split

Big Banc Split (BNK.TO) intends to complete a stock split of its Class A shares, citing strong performance of the shares, the fund said late on Friday.Class A shareholders of record at the close of business on May 1 will receive 20 additional Class A shares for every 100 Class A shares held.At completion of the share split, the Class A shares are expected to begin trading on an ex-split basis at the opening of trading on May 4.The preferred shares of the fund will not be affected and are expected to have downside protection from a decline in the value of the fund's portfolio of about 60%.Class A unitholders will continue to receive regular monthly non-cumulative cash distributions initially in the amount of $0.12 per Class A share, or $1.44 per year, following the Share Split. As a result, the total dollar amount of distributions to be paid to the holders of Class A shares is expected to increase by about 20%.The share split is subject to the approval of the Toronto Stock Exchange.
