-- 欧州投資銀行（EIB）は、欧州委員会と欧州復興開発銀行（EBRD）が創設した「ウクライナ・ファースト」と呼ばれるプロジェクト準備イニシアチブの下、インフラ開発に関する助言を提供すると、火曜日に発表した。 EIBは声明の中で、大規模インフラ計画を、資金調達と建設の準備が整ったエネルギー分野を含む本格的なプロジェクトへと発展させることを目指すと述べた。 準備作業には、実現可能性調査、技術設計、環境アセスメントが含まれるとEIBは説明した。 当初、EIBの活動はウクライナ南部の道路網に重点を置くが、道路、エネルギー、鉄道網といった重要インフラの復旧にも取り組む予定だ。 EIBはキエフでウクライナ経済・環境・農業省と協定を締結し、協力関係を確認した。これにより、ウクライナがEU加盟を目指す中で、投資プロジェクトを実施するための枠組みが構築された。 「この合意は、周到に準備された投資を通じてウクライナの復興とEU加盟計画を支援する上で重要な一歩となる」と、欧州投資銀行（EIB）のカール・ネハンマー副総裁は述べた。「インフラ投資を効率的に実施し、資金を誘致し、欧州基準を満たすためには、綿密なプロジェクト準備が不可欠だ。」 ウクライナ・ファーストとは、インフラ復興ファシリティの略で、現在4,000万ユーロ（4,680万ドル）の資金が利用可能となっている。 EIBアドバイザリーは、ウクライナ南部オデッサからルーマニア国境までを結ぶM15高速道路の整備に着手し、オデッサ地域の交通計画策定と、この主要道路の近代化を支援する。 EIBは2007年のウクライナ進出以来、同国に40億ユーロを超えるプロジェクト融資を提供してきた。

Power transmission infrastructure company Bajel Projects (NSE:BAJEL, BOM:544042) has secured two international orders falling cumulatively in the ultra-mega category of over 4 billion Indian rupees, according to a Wednesday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.The contract covers the construction of two contiguous sections of the 500 kV overhead transmission lines in the Middle East and North Africa region.The project is expected to be completed in 11 months.The company's shares were up nearly 4% in recent trade.
