The refinery expects to produce diesel and jet fuel at about 80% of capacity and petrol at roughly 60% while the unit remains offline. Its shares fell 4% at market close.National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) reported fiscal first-half cash earnings of AU$0.861 per share, down from AU$1.145 a year earlier. Net operating income for the six months ended March 31 was AU$10.87 billion, compared with AU$10.27 billion a year earlier. Its shares closed down 1%.Lastly, Accent Group (ASX:AX1) lowered its earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) guidance for the second half of fiscal year 2026 after higher fuel prices and deteriorating consumer confidence negatively impacted sales and margins in April. The company now expects fiscal second-half EBIT of AU$23 million to AU$28 million. In February, Accent Group guided for fiscal second-half EBIT of AU$30 million to AU$35 million. Its shares fell 13% on market close.

Indonesia's Producer Prices Rise 3.2% in Q1

Indonesia's producer price index across nine sectors rose 3.15% annually in the first quarter, according to data released by Statistics Indonesia on Monday.The pace of expansion accelerated from the 2.8% increase in the fourth quarter of 2025.On a quarter-over-quarter basis, the index climbed 1.7% from Q4 2025.The mining and quarrying sector recorded the sharpest annual increase, up 6.44%, alongside a strong 7.46% quarter-on-quarter gain. Agriculture, manufacturing, and transportation also posted steady growth in producer prices over the year.Other sectors showed moderate increases, including electricity and gas, accommodation and food services, education, and health. The water management sector rose 3.85% annually, the data showed.

Ifo: German Automotive Businesses Become More Negative About Outlook in April

Morale across the German automotive industry weakened in April, as the Iran war made companies more pessimistic about the coming months despite a better assessment of their current business situation.The business climate indicator dropped to -23.8 points from -19.0 points in March, the ifo Institute said Monday. Business expectations declined to -30.7 points from -15.3 points.The ifo business survey also showed that automotive companies facing a shortage of key intermediate products like helium grew to 9.3% in April, from 1% in March. Meanwhile, businesses expect high energy prices to impact car purchases.
