Georgina Energy Terminates Acquisition Deal With Central Petroleum
Georgina Energy (GEX.L) and Central Petroleum Ltd. terminated their November 2025 share purchase agreement, according to a Wednesday filing.Central Petroleum sought to exercise its right to terminate the deal, which covers Georgina Energy's acquisition of certain of its subsidiaries, after the companies failed to agree on the proposed amendments to the contract.The helium and hydrogen exploration company said it will continue to pursue its strategic objectives and will provide further updates in due course.
