-- 加拿大獨立企業聯合會(CFIB)表示,根據美國政府在近期最高法院裁決後推出的新制度,從本週起,許多加拿大小型出口商可能有資格獲得部分美國關稅的退稅。 CFIB在周二發布的聲明中指出,在2025年2月4日至2026年2月24日期間,根據《國際緊急經濟權力法》(IEEPA),作為「進口商登記人」並就不符合《美墨加協定》(CUSMA)規定的商品繳納美國關稅的加拿大企業,現在可能有資格獲得退稅。 約三分之一的加拿大小型出口商面臨不符合CUSMA豁免條件的商品關稅。 CFIB指出,其中四分之一(26%)的企業是進口商登記人,應該有資格獲得這些退稅。 “不幸的是,”聲明補充道,“其他一些加拿大小型出口商為了維持受關稅影響的業務,降低了對美國客戶的價格或與客戶分攤了成本,因此無法獲得這項救濟。” 加拿大獨立企業聯合會(CFIB)主席丹·凱利在聲明中表示:“雖然一些加拿大出口商可能獲得一年多的關稅收入退款是個好消息,但這套系統操作起來並不簡單。加拿大企業需要開設美國海關帳戶和美國銀行帳戶,並且可能需要與報關行合作才能獲得退款。”
