Waratah Minerals Says Drilling at New South Wales Gold Project Returns 'Significant' Mineralization Intercepts
Waratah Minerals (ASX:WTM) said an ongoing drilling program at its Spur gold project in New South Wales returned "significant" intercepts of mineralization from the Spur and Consols gold zones, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.The program is targeting new high-grade discoveries outside areas of known mineralization, the company said. It encountered intercepts of 47.8 meters at 0.5 gram per tonnes (g/t) grade of gold from 385.2 meters, as well as 80 meters at 1.8 g/t grade of gold from surface.Waratah Minerals' shares rose past 2% in recent trading on Friday.
