ロシアの国営原子力企業ロスアトムがバングラデシュ原子力発電所の燃料装填を開始、出力2,400MWを目指す

-- ロシアの原子力企業ロスアトムは、バングラデシュ初の原子力発電所であるループール原子力発電所(出力2,400メガワット)で燃料装荷を開始し、発電開始に向けて前進したと火曜日に発表した。 ロスアトムによると、同社はループール原子力発電所1号機への新規核燃料の装荷を開始し、ループール原子力発電所の試運転段階における第一歩を踏み出した。 ロスアトムによると、同社のエンジニアリング部門は、このプロジェクトの総合請負業者および設計者として、建設と技術的な実施を監督している。 ロスアトムによると、運転員は原子炉を最低制御レベルまで上げ、その後徐々に出力を上げ、次の段階でバングラデシュの電力網への電力供給を同期させる予定だ。 ロスアトムによると、この発電所は2基のVVER-1200型原子炉で構成され、合計出力は2,400メガワット。ダッカから約160キロメートル離れた場所に位置し、2015年12月25日の契約に基づいて建設された。 ロシアの原子力企業ロスアトムは、VVER-1200型原子炉は高い運転信頼性と効率性を備え、国際的な原子力安全基準をすべて満たす先進的な第3世代+設計を採用していると発表した。 同社によると、VVER-1200型原子炉は世界中で6基稼働しており、うち4基はロシア、2基はベラルーシにある。また、エジプト、ハンガリー、トルコ、中国で建設プロジェクトが進行中であり、カザフスタンではさらに2基の調査が行われている。 ロスアトムのアレクセイ・リハチョフ総裁とバングラデシュのファキル・マフブブ・アナム科学技術大臣は、原子炉の制御運転への移行を承認したと、同社は述べている。
