ヘイスティングス・テクノロジー・メタルズ社、アフリカ産モナザイト精鉱供給に関してエヌオ社とオフテイク契約を締結

-- ヘイスティングス・テクノロジー・メタルズ(ASX:HAS)は、タイの湿式製錬プラント向けに、アフリカ産モナザイト精鉱を年間最低5,000トン供給する基本オフテイク契約をエヌオ・ホールディングスと締結したと、火曜日にオーストラリア証券取引所に提出した書類で明らかにした。 同社によると、この契約は2年間の供給期間で、ヤンギバナ・プロジェクトの稼働開始前に1年間の延長オプションが付いている。湿式製錬プラントの試運転は6月に開始される予定だ。 提出書類によると、モナザイト精鉱には、全希土類酸化物(TREO)の約20%を占めるネオジムとプラセオジムといった磁性希土類元素に加え、約1~1.3%のジスプロシウムとテルビウムが含まれている。 ヘイスティングス社が最近、湿式冶金プラントの49%の権益を取得したことを受け、今回の契約により、プラントの稼働に必要な原料が確保され、第4四半期までに生産を開始する予定であると、提出書類には記載されている。 同社によると、エヌオ社は1月に締結したヤンギバナ鉱床とブロックマン鉱床の鉱石試験に関する技術サービスおよび研究契約に基づく既存のパートナーであり、今回のオフテイク契約により、その関係は生産用精鉱の現物供給にまで拡大される。 同社の株価は、直近の火曜日の取引で2%上昇した。
