ソフトバンクが出資するPayPay、台湾で海外決済サービスを開始

-- ソフトバンクグループ(東証:9984)が出資するPayPayは、韓国に続く2番目の海外展開として、4月下旬より台湾で海外決済サービスを開始する。

利用者は、コンビニエンスストアやレストランなど、TWQRコードが表示されている約40万カ所で決済が可能となる。

このサービスでは、リアルタイムで円への換算が可能で、透明性を高めるための新しい為替レート計算ツールも搭載される。

購入金額に応じたPayPayポイントの付与や海外利用額に応じたスクラッチくじなどの特典に加え、同社は台湾の大手コンビニチェーンや空港交通カードとのプロモーション提携も計画している。

認証済みのユーザーについては、アプリが自動的に海外モードに切り替わるが、データは引き続き日本国内で安全に保管される。
