クエストー・テクノロジー社、カナダ国立研究評議会から190万ドルの資金を獲得し、1500kWの熱電変換システムを商業化へ

-- クエストー・テクノロジー(QST.V)は、カナダ国立研究機構(NRC)から190万ドルの助成金を受け、1500キロワット級ランキンサイクル(ORC)熱電併給システムの開発完了と商業化に向けた取り組みを開始したと、金曜日に発表した。 同社によると、この1500kW ORCシステムは、高温および低温の廃熱を、自家消費または送電網への供給が可能な電力に変換するもので、同社のQシリーズ熱酸化装置との組み合わせを想定して設計されている。 クエストーは、1500kWプロトタイプの試験を2026年第2四半期に完了し、その後、今年後半に商業展開を開始する予定だ。 同社の株価は、木曜日のトロント証券取引所ベンチャー市場で8.3%上昇し、0.325ドルで取引を終えた。

Sun Pharmaceutical to Acquire US-Based Organon in $11.8 Billion Deal

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries (NSE:SUNPHARMA, BOM:524715) has agreed to acquire US-based Organon & Co in an all-cash deal at an enterprise valuation of $11.8 billion, according to a Monday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.Under the pact, Sun Pharmaceutical will buy all outstanding shares of Organon for $14.00 per share. It plans to fund the acquisition through a combination of available cash resources and committed financing from banks.The acquisition is estimated to boost Sun Pharmaceutical's revenues to $12.4 billion.Organon, which was spun off from Merck in 2021, specializes in women's health and biosimilars and has more than 70 products sold across 140 countries.The Organon buyout is part of Sun Pharmaceutical's strategy "of growing its Innovative Medicines business," according to Sun Pharma's statement.The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including receipt of required regulatory approvals andapproval by Organon stockholders.
